Destiny grew up in church as a pastor's kid. She would be in church mostly everyday. Up until last year, she hadn’t considered being in ministry because of her personal experience growing up. She also was finding her relationship with God. For Destiny, leadership comes naturally, but she didn’t want to take on a role God wasn’t guiding her to accept. Last year, Destiny worked at Compass Church in Naperville. Her experience here turned her life around and changed how she viewed leadership. She learned that you don’t have to be in a grandiose role in order to lead. It can be small, but that doesn’t make it insignificant. While at this internship, Destiny was baptized and rededicated her life to the Lord. Transformation is important and happens gradually. Destiny will always proclaim Jesus and knows that He is the center of our transformation; we just have to receive it.

In addition, Destiny also loves to have fun, laugh and pick up new hobbies. Currently, her habit of choice is DJing which she thoroughly enjoys. Destiny is happy and excited to be here at Trinity . She is thankful for the year she has attended because she has grown and learned so much.
